The handover coincided with the rollout of “Market by MoMo Yiino,” MTN MoMo’s latest e-commerce campaign positioning the platform as a trusted online marketplace that connects customers to local products backed by the security of MoMo payments.

Following the ceremony, participants undertook a market-wide cleaning exercise, sweeping stalls, clearing garbage, and restoring order within the market precinct. The joint activity underscored the shared commitment to maintaining a clean and organised urban trading environment.
